Project co-lead, Kakadu Board of ManagementConnie Nayinggul is Manilagar TO. She is the Daluk (Women) Ranger Co-ordinator for the East Alligator district of Kakadu National Park. Before taking on this role she was working on fire and weed management in Kakadu and Arnhemland. Strong background in land management in particular fire management, threatened species surveys. Connie has been involved in research projects with NESP that have focussed on floodplain condition and weed management and is currently working on feral animal control and monitoring research. She is part of the digital women’s rangers network. Connie is also a recognised artist who is known for her weaving. Connie is the Deputy Chair of the Kakadu Board of Management.
