As someone who’s always been drawn to Australia’s incredible birdlife, my interest in resilient landscapes really comes from a deep love and respect for the ecosystems that support these amazing creatures. From the cheeky cockatoos squawking in the treetops to the flashes of colour from fairywrens hopping through the bushes. Birds like these aren’t just fun to watch, they’re also signs of how healthy and balanced our environment is. They play a huge role in shaping the landscape and responding to change, which makes them a great way to understand how resilient our natural systems really are.
