16-year collaboration wins two Territory Natural Resource Management Awards
We’re honoured to have won not one but TWO Territory NRM Natural Resource Management Awards for our Tjuwaliyn-Wagiman Aboriginal Corporation/Tropical Rivers and Coastal Knowledge (TRaCK) Water Conservation Collaboration project! The team won both the Best Collaboration in NRM Award and the Research in NRM Award.
The awards are held in conjunction with the 2020 Territory Natural Resource Management (NRM) Conference and celebrate the inspirational achievements of natural resource managers right across the Territory.
The partnership began 16 years ago under the Tropical Rivers and Coastal Knowledge (TRaCK) consortium, continued through the National Environmental Research Programme (predecessor of the National Environmental Science Program [NESP]) and now feeds into our NESP Northern Hub.
Congratulations to all involved in this project, and all the other winners and finalists for your great work managing the outstanding natural resources of the Northern Territory!
