- Alex is a visual storyteller. He has a background in media, communications and computing.
- Alex spent over 8 years at Channel 7 News Perth before breaking out into communications for local government. Before beginning his career with UWA, Alex worked as a content creator for a peak body.
- Alex has always had a passions for the environment and wildlife. He previously volunteered as a photographer for Perth Zoo.
