
Anna-Sheree Krige (known as Sheree) is a dynamic science communicator, educator, and researcher who is passionate about turning scientific knowledge into meaningful action. With a PhD in molecular biology and infectious disease management, Sheree has a passion for strengthening scientific understanding, closing knowledge gaps, and contributing to global health and environmental resilience.
Sheree brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and strategic leadership. She has delivered impactful initiatives across the Australian agricultural sector, including managing six national agricultural councils to advance industry priorities, drive collaboration, and support the long-term sustainability of the grains supply chain. At Curtin University and The University of Western Australia, Sheree has led the coordination of national research investments, built innovative student-industry engagement programs, and helped channel scientific insights into engaging communication outputs.
Sheree’s diverse professional background – spanning laboratory research, education, community engagement, and program management – has sharpened her ability to build trusted partnerships, communicate complex ideas clearly, and deliver results that make a difference.
In her current role as Senior Research Communications Officer for the NESP Resilient Landscapes Hub, Sheree draws on this broad expertise to support the translation of Hub research into clear, accessible communication products that support stakeholder engagement and ensures important environmental research reaches the people who can use it.
