Bio

Dr Haylee D’Agui is an environmental biologist who enjoys working on the coordination, facilitation and delivery of research projects and programs in the fields of biodiversity and environmental science.

Dr D’Agui works with the Resilient Landscapes Hub as a Senior Research Officer, focused on the coordination and delivery of projects within the ‘Indigenous knowledge and managing the Indigenous estate‘ research theme led by Professor Stephen van Leeuwen. The projects Dr D’Agui works on have a focus on supporting Indigenous Australians and their joint-management partners in managing the Indigenous estate and mobilising Indigenous knowledge to better understand, manage and conserve Australia’s environments.

Dr D’Agui completed her PhD in 2017 at Curtin University focusing on the ability of Australian plants to adapt and evolve to climate change.
