Our Bininj/Mungguy Healthy Country indicators for Kakadu National Park and Defining metrics of success for feral animal management project teams were recently announced as merit winners for their Technology Platform Solution of the Year at the Queensland iAwards.
The iAwards recognise innovation across industries and scales. The awards unearth, recognise and reward excellence in innovation that has the potential to create positive change for the community. Our two projects have partnered with Microsoft for a Healthy Country AI collaboration and have been using drones and artificial intelligence (among other tools) to reduce feedback time for rangers who are on the ground looking after Country.
On Cape York, we’ve partnered with Aak Puul Ngantam rangers to protect baby turtles from feral pigs.
