Bio:

Pazit is a Senior Research Assistant at the Climate Action Beacon, Griffith University. Over the past 12 years Pazit has been involved in a wide range of research projects which explore the theory and practice of community-led planning, scenario planning, climate change adaptation and resilience, and sustainability transitions. Pazit has played a pivotal role in several significant initiatives, including community-led wild dog management projects in peri-urban areas across South East Queensland and adaptation and resilience planning for the Shoalhaven region in New South Wales.

In addition, Pazit has helped facilitate the development of strategic plans for adaptation and resilience with various communities, fostering collaboration and empowering local knowledge. Pazit is passionate about helping communities harness their unique knowledge, skills, and experiences to enhance their resilience and adaptive capacity in the face of climate change and other challenges and disruptive events.
